Saddle-stitched booklets
Cost-effective, professional, and lays completely flat
Perfect for booklets up to around 64 pages. Pages are folded, nested together, and stapled along the spine to create a booklet that opens easily and lies completely flat. It’s an ideal format for reading, note-taking, and showcasing designs that span across pages.
Best for: Product brochures, event programmes, catalogues, newsletters, menus
Page count: 8-64 pages (must be multiples of 4)
Key benefit: Opens completely flat, making it easy to read and handle
Special feature: Allows full-spread images across centre pages without losing content in the binding
Perfect bound books
Premium appearance with squared spine
Creates publications that look and feel like professional paperback books. Pages are glued along the spine, and the cover is wrapped over the book and trimmed flush.
The squared spine allows for printing your title and branding, perfect when your publications need to stand out on shelves or in presentation folders.
Best for: Annual reports, magazines, product catalogues, company manuals, training materials
Page count: 40+ pages (no upper limit for practical purposes)
Key benefit: Professional book-like appearance with printable spine
Special feature: Durable binding that withstands frequent handling and storage
Wire-o binding
Perfect for reference and working documents
Uses a continuous metal wire threaded through punched holes to create an extremely durable binding.
Pages lie completely flat or fold back 360 degrees, making this the ultimate choice for reference materials, workbooks, and anything that needs to stay open during use.
Best for: Training manuals, workbooks, cookbooks, reference guides, presentations
Page count: Flexible—accommodates thin booklets to substantial manuals
Key benefit: Exceptional durability and 360-degree page rotation
Special feature: Can include tabbed dividers, laminated covers, and mixed paper stocks
Plastic comb binding
Practical, reusable, budget-friendly
The classic choice for functional documents where practicality matters more than premium appearance.
Pages can be added or removed as needed, making this perfect for evolving documents, training materials, and internal publications that need regular updates.
Best for: Training documents, policy manuals, internal reports, reference materials
Page count: 8-400+ pages
Key benefit: Pages can be added, removed, or rearranged without reprinting
Special feature: Available in multiple colours with optional clear front and back covers

All our papers come from sustainable sources.
Choose from silk-coated papers for vibrant colour reproduction, uncoated stocks for easy writing and a premium feel, or recycled options when environmental responsibility is a priority.
Cover Options
Same paper throughout (self-cover) for a cohesive look
Heavier cover stock for added durability and premium feel
Laminated covers (gloss or matt) for protection and enhanced appearance

-
It depends on your page count, how the booklet will be used, and your budget. Saddle stitch works great for up to 64 pages and lies completely flat. Perfect binding gives you that professional book appearance for 40+ pages. Wire-o is unbeatable for durability and heavy use. We're happy to recommend the best option.
-
Absolutely. Our design team can work with your content to create professional layouts, handle pagination, and ensure everything is optimised for your chosen binding style. We can start with rough content or work from your existing materials.
-
Not necessarily. We accept print-ready PDFs, but we can also work with your Word documents, images, and rough layouts to create the finished files for you.
-
Saddle-stitched booklets must have page counts in multiples of 4 (e.g., 12, 16, 20 pages). For other binding types, you have more flexibility. Count your content pages, then add covers to determine your total page count. We can help you plan this efficiently.
-
Saddle-stitched and Wire-o bound booklets lay completely flat, making them perfect for instruction manuals, cookbooks, and presentation materials. Perfect bound booklets behave more like traditional paperback books and don’t lay completely flat.
