File Checking & Artwork Support

Not a designer? No problem.

If you’ve created your own file, we’ll check it before printing, looking out for things like low-resolution images, missing bleed, or layout issues. If we spot a problem, we’ll let you know and help fix it.

We also offer artwork setup and design services if you’d like us to take care of it entirely.

Ordering print should be straightforward. We’ve brought together clear, no-nonsense answers to the questions we hear most so you can make confident choices and get results you’ll be happy with.

  • Yes - we handle both short and long runs with ease. Need just a handful of copies? Digital printing makes small quantities quick, economical, and just as high quality as big jobs. Ideal for testing an idea, printing something personal, or topping up your stock without over-ordering. And when you need it fast, we can usually turn it around in no time.

  • Absolutely. If you can’t collect from our North Shields premises, we’ll arrange delivery via one of our trusted couriers. Deliveries are tracked, and in most cases you can choose the day you’d like your order to arrive. There’s usually a small charge to cover courier costs, confirmed upfront so there are no surprises.

  • Not necessarily. At some stage your artwork will need to be print-ready, but if you don’t have anything prepared yet, we can handle it for you through our full design service. If you do have artwork but aren’t sure it’s ready to go, we’ll check it and either guide you to make the changes yourself or handle the adjustments for you. Whatever your starting point, we’ve got you covered.

  • Yes - we always check that your artwork is suitable for printing. For folded leaflets or booklets, we’ll also confirm fold positions and page order. We don’t routinely proofread for typos or factual errors, but if you’d like a detailed content check, just let us know and we can arrange it.

  • We stock a wide range of materials to suit different projects - coated and uncoated papers, recycled options, heavyweight boards, waterproof and wipeable stocks, self-adhesive materials, PVC banner media, and lightbox films. If you’re not sure which to choose, we’ll happily talk you through the options so you get the right look and feel for your job.

  • We’ll check your artwork against the exact specifications for your job. If adjustments are needed, you can either re-supply the corrected file or ask us to make the changes for you. Either way, we’ll never send something to print that isn’t right.

  • Let us know your deadline and we’ll do everything we can to meet it. We’ll give you an honest answer about what’s possible (no over-promising) and adjust our schedule where we can to make sure you get your order when you need it.
